What’s new for 2022?
The Sorento will be the first to receive 2022 Kia latest badge, and more importantly is a plug-in
hybrid powertrain for the family of cars. The new model also increases the selection for
the X-Line package to include the most expensive trim levels, to S as well as EX. Actually, all
all-wheel-drive S and EX are now X-Lines. This means that just the basic LX along with the
sporty SX are available with AWD but not X-Line. Other changes are the 10.25-inch
touchscreen that is now available on all models, except the LX.
What’s the interior like in the Sorento and the in-car technology?
The Sorento is a luxurious interior that is distinctive in its style. There’s less space than the
Telluride (more about it in the following section) however, you’re really not losing any ambience
or features. The primary distinction in Sorento different trim levels aside from features and
features, is the trim on the dash in front of the driver and the luxurious upholstery. In addition to

with two people. Three-row crossovers in general include seatbelts for seven seats or eight,
depending on the middle row of seating.
Cargo space with the third row lower (38.4 cubic feet) and the seats all lowered (75.5) is
superior to what you’ll find in the majority of two-row SUVs (and about what you’ll get in the
Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4). The only area where it seems to fall short of other crossovers
with three rows is the cargo space behind the third row that is raised.
The tiny 12.6 cubic feet
are less than the bigger three-rows significantly and, in terms of actual luggage capacity, it can

What are the Sorento performance and fuel economy
specifications?
An eight-speed manual and front-wheel drive is standard and an all-wheel drive alternative. The
engine’s performance is similar to the one you’d get in an RAV4 or CR-V model The 2022 kia Sorento’s

What is it like to drive the Sorento experience like?
We’re yet to drive one or both of the Sorento hybrids as of writing. We haven’t even tested the
basic 2.5-liter engine, although we’re not able to imagine it being anything else than a
stutteringly slow car. So, we’re able to review the brand’s latest 2.5-liter turbocharged engine. In
short, it’s got an impressive amount of guts.
Its 281 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque is quite a
lot of power to pass through the front wheel alone. It’s not surprising that the front-wheel drive
Sorento EX we tested demonstrated plenty of torque steer acceleration is a roar from a stop, or
speeding through a turn. It also interacts with the stabilization control more frequently in slippery
terrains.
The all-wheel drive system available will result in the turbo Sorento experiencing less
anxiety off the line and more comfortable in the snow. We did not find any issues with the
transmissions despite the dual-clutch manual being a common option for SUVs with a family.
We look at our thoughts on the X-Line model of the top-of-the-line SX Prestige. Although we
enjoyed it, we were disappointed by the fact that the X-Line was limited to the highest trim
levels. This is no longer the case.

Pricing for 2022 Kia Sorento starts at $30,665 which includes the $1,175 destination cost. The
Sorento hybrid costs $35,165 and the PHEV starts at $46,165, with the same destination cost.
The trims are different for each. levels, however, and the PHEV also qualifies to receive $6,587
in federal tax credits.
