Design and features
First things first, let’s talk about the design of the Ulefone Armor 9. It comes in two colors – the gray one, and the gold one.
It’s also possible to get it with a black back which includes a gold-colored stripe that runs along the side of the phone, and it also has an option to be white or black.

Although we find the gold version to be a bit much, we still love the other colors as well, especially the black. It’s sturdy, and the back is made of plastic which feels and looks very premium.
The Ulefone Armor 9 is very easy to use. To turn it on, we just have to slide the switch back and slide to the right, and then slide down to go to the home screen.
The home screen looks clean and fresh, and there is a shortcut button to open the App Drawer. You can customize the App Drawer to have more apps, or remove some of them.
You can even add your own app shortcuts, but you can’t remove any app shortcuts that are there. The App Drawer button is just at the bottom left, and then the app icon is right above it.
Specifications
The Ulefone Armor 9 has a 5.2-inch display with full HD resolution, that is great for reading long messages and emails, watching movies or TV shows, browsing social media accounts, and more. There’s also a touch screen which makes the Ulefone Armor 9 different from other phones.
You can customize the UI according to your needs. You can change the status bar, and there’s also the power button at the top of the status bar, for convenient access.
The navigation bar is available and customizable. You can add your favorite contacts and shortcuts in the shortcut bar. The phone’s notification system is very good and we didn’t find any problems with the battery life.
We like that the Ulefone Armor 9 has a dedicated key for recording sound, as well as another for fast-forwarding, and rewinding, and it also has a function that makes it mute and unmutes itself. You can also use the side key for volume and ringtone control, as well as other features.
The Ulefone Armor 9 is made for video calls, and it has two front-facing cameras, one on the front and another on the back. One of the cameras is for video calls and the other is for selfies. Both cameras offer a wide range of settings to adjust, including brightness, focus, and the amount of light captured.
The Ulefone Armor 9 has a fingerprint scanner and face recognition at the back. It also has a USB 2.0 port and a headphone jack at the top of the phone.
There’s a micro-USB port for charging at the bottom of the phone, and you can connect the phone to a computer using this port for data synchronization. The SIM card slot is at the bottom of the phone, and it uses nano-SIMs, so you can easily replace it.
One of the good features of the Ulefone Armor 9 is its dual stereo speakers at the bottom of the phone. It is quite clear and crisp, so you can listen to music, watch videos, and listen to games. There’s also a speakerphone to use over calls.
I’ve always enjoyed a bit of a challenge – and a tough review, too. And what a challenge this one is. There are so many phones out there, I’m struggling to choose between them.
So much choice for what is often a very small budget, and a very limited time. But the Ulefone Armor 9 is right up there. A really fantastic little device.

It is very easy to hold and use, it is beautifully designed, it has a superb set of specs, a good camera, and a very good battery life. Ulefone makes such good phones, and the Ulefone 9 is an example of their exceptional quality.
The phone is so good, we’re giving it the “phone of the month” award. This award is for phones which you know and love, and you want to continue to use, but are having difficulty finding the one you want. You’re familiar with the phone and the brand, but you just can’t quite decide.
So that’s how we feel about the Ulefone Armor 9, and we think you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better phone to buy.
It’s very hard to tell the real difference between the front and back of the Ulefone 9. It’s almost all-screen, but when you turn the phone over, it appears the back is plastic. You won’t be able to tell the difference, though.
You can tell it’s a phone made in China because it has a nice weight to it, and the weight is consistent all over the phone. The Ulefone Armor 9 is not cheap, and that’s probably because of the quality and build of the phone.
For $129, we think it’s a pretty great price for a quality phone.
